Our story starts with Covid 19 happening to all of us. It was a time we will all never forget. A lot of uncertain things happened and affected us all in so many different ways. Fortunately for Lah, an opportunity opens and creates a door opening to her business. Starting as a beauty maker in a totally different industry, Lah was always into food. Her passions for food started with her cooking at the age of 9 years old. For her very first favorite soup: canh chua ca Bong Lah (sweet and sour delicious cat fish soup). Her tastes started to expand wiser once she moved to the USA where she was exposed to a lot of other different cuisines. Lah loves cooking for her close friends and family during any of her gatherings, she created her own hot sauce that many people have tasted and told her to eventually start her own company.

Covid caused a lot of us to lose our jobs, she took a big step and has become a big time chef at a close friends house while they were investing from home to fill her free time as well as some extra income She started to become well known by many through those friends with social media and posting to her stories in which she had a high demand for foodies who wanted to try her food.Lah took a big step and applied for a food management license, looking at different kitchens to rent, she also attended some culinary classes and started the catering business on her own. Many people who have tried Lah’s food can tell you how much love and passion there is in every little detail as well as her strong flavor profile. Lah’s idea is to start pop up events and create dishes with ingredients and uniqueness is to start pop up events and create dishes with ingredients along with uniqueness from many countries to bring in different plates at one night to serve her clients.

Lah focusses not just on the quality of food, flavor, presentation, but also soups, sauces, appetizers, entrees and deserts. This is how the name “Taste around the world” started. The concept has been welcomed by many previous foodies who tried her food. Even though we are a new business, our true passion has been to help us spread the word of mouth to many of our satisfied guests who enjoyed not just a quality dinner, but a whole entertaining experience created by our team to our dearest guests. Team Lah is open to any challenges and feedback to help us thrive far into our journey. Our goal is to keep getting better at what we do, by creating more memorable experiences and delightful dishes to share the message about how meaning food is to us as a universal language of the soul.
